Location, location, location! Share The Knowledge is running two exclusive courses focusing on this area and the time to apply is now!
They are looking for 16 location management participants and 10 location co-ordinator participants from across the country to take part in these courses which will include a practical day in preparing a location for an upcoming shoot in your region. Sessions will be led by a variety of experienced Screen Industry professionals.
Location Managers’ Course – a five-day course, three days via Zoom with one practical day, and one day debrief (in-person) in Wellington.
Location Co-ordinators’ Course – three-day course via Zoom (with optional practical day to support Location Management training).
The course will include:
Departmental overview, script breakdown, scouting, budgeting, negotiating, permitting & consultation, tech recces, working with other departments, how the co-ordinator fits in, final prep, the shoot, wrap and Health & Safety.

The application is open to anyone from the Screen Industry or from alogistical / events organisation background.
The selection process will focus on finding talent who have the aptitude, personality, work ethic, intelligence and location or industry experience to become an excellent Location Manager or Co-ordinator.
