Sexism Watch - A Black List for Directors

In another blog from Silverstein, she reveals that following the release of the 'Black List for the best unproduced scripts', now comes a list of aspiring directors who want to graduate to the big time. (She notes that this list, like the first Black List, also has at least one director who needs no help at all.)

And, surprise, none of the people on the 'Black List for Directors' are women.

Typically, the list was produced by three people (all men, of course) from three Hollywood studios who 'polled studio execs, producers, and assistants" and solicited shorts, commercials and music videos for consideration'.
