Filmmaker and artist Vincent Ward is one of only three artists
to be offered a solo pavilion show at the prestigious Shanghai
Biennale in China, and the first ever New Zealand artist to be
invited to show there. His exhibition, Auckland Station: Destinies
Lost and Found will run for three months in an historic
cathedral.
The NZ Breast Cancer Foundation is holding a fundraising event
supported by Vincent where you will have the opportunity to
purchase artworks by Vincent Ward and artist friends John Reynolds
and Gavin Hipkins, while viewing some of Vincent's larger pieces at
the historic Pah Homestead on August 23.
The money raised for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation
from this event will go towards funding community outreach
programmes designed to help and support women affected by breast
cancer throughout New Zealand.
Vincent will be present and signing copies of his new book;
Inhale|Exhale.
There will be wine and canapés, and entertainment provided.
Tickets are limited and priced at just $50 each. See more
information and purchase tickets here.
