TV Works is looking for an On-Air Coordinator (involves shift
work).
The primary functions of the position are:
· The proficient operation of the Harris On-Air Automation
Client and all the relevant equipment in the Presentation Suite,
including but not limited to the Evertz QMC Switcher, Pinnacle Deko
3000 Character Generator, Chyron LEX Graphic System, Grass Valley
K2 Video and Audio Servers, MassStore Archive and the Thomson
Routing System.
· Fault-free playout of programmes, commercials, promos,
music videos, and associated material for TV Works (TV3, Four etc),
in accordance with the Transmission Log Schedule; liaising with the
Programming, News, Commercial Placement, Promos and Sports
departments.
· Initial investigation of on-air faults, and detailed
entry into the Presentation `Fault Log.
