Unitec's Performing and Screen Arts Department is looking for a
Senior Lecturer to share their passion for Screen Directing.
The Department of Performing and Screen Arts offers
professionally focused education and training through its industry
recognised diploma, degree and graduate diploma programmes in the
discipline fields of: Acting for Screen and Theatre; Directing and
Writing for Screen; Film and TV production; Live Performance and
Technologies; Contemporary Dance and Choreography; and Music.
This is a full-time vacancy for a Senior Lecturer to provide an
effective academic and leadership contribution to the Department in
Directing for Screen. As well as teaching, you will be actively
involved in research and curriculum design and development.
Applicants should have:
• A Masters degree or higher in the relevant subject area/s of
discipline
• Demonstrated recognition and reputation as a leader in the
Diecting for screen discipline
• Demonstrated expertise and innovation in teaching and
assessment, in the areas of Screen Directing Techniques
•Proven contribution to curriculum design and development
• Discipline based practice contribution (currency, service to
profession/industry/community, institutional and /or external
awards) including Screen Directing credits
• Producing experience an advantage
