Celebrate the rise of 'Puanga' and the Maori New Year at
Parihaka Pa.
Join festival activities - dance till midnight to live performances
by local musicians, plant in the community garden, feast on kai
(food) from a variety of food stalls, learn more about Parihaka and
Maori culture, and be there for the world premiere of the new
feature film Tatarakihi the children of Parihaka.
The Puanga Kai Rau Festival happens this weekend
